A team of determined fundraisers from M2 Construction have completed three demanding challenges to raise funds for Staffordshire Children’s Hospital at Royal Stoke.

Colleagues from the construction company took on Scafell Pike, Tough Mudder and the Potters ‘Arf Marathon, putting their fitness and determination to the test in support of UHNM Charity.

The fundraising was inspired by the care members of the team and their families have received at Staffordshire Children’s Hospital, with colleagues wanting to give something back to the hospital teams who have supported their children.

The triple challenge saw the team tackle three very different events, beginning with a climb up Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountain, before taking on the obstacles and muddy terrain of Tough Mudder.

They also completed the Potters ‘Arf Marathon, taking on the challenging course through Stoke-on-Trent to round off their fundraising efforts.

Following the completion of all three challenges, representatives from M2 Construction visited Staffordshire Children’s Hospital at Royal Stoke for a special cheque presentation.

The visit gave the team an opportunity to meet hospital staff and celebrate their fundraising achievements, while thanking those who provide care and support to children and families across Staffordshire.

Money raised through the challenges will support UHNM Charity’s work at Staffordshire Children’s Hospital, helping to fund additional equipment, facilities and projects that improve the experience of young patients and their families.

The team’s efforts highlight the important role local businesses can play in supporting their communities, bringing colleagues together to make a difference to a cause close to their hearts.

UHNM Charity would like to thank everyone at M2 Construction who took part, donated or supported the challenges.
