We are the charity of University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust

UHNM Charity provide support to the clinical teams at Royal Stoke University Hospital and County Hospital, Stafford to deliver the best possible care to over two million people from Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and beyond.

Working with local communities, schools and businesses, each year we provide millions of pounds in additional funding to your local hospitals for state-of-the-art equipment, improvements to patient comfort and experience and potentially life-saving NHS research.

We have a large local presence

Our two hospitals provide acute hospital services for a local population of 700,000 people as well as providing specialist services for three million people in the wider area including neighbouring counties and North Wales.

We get ourselves noticed

As well as reaching well over a million people each year via our social media and website, we have excellent relations with both local and regional press.

We work for an inspiring cause

The majority of our supporters either have, or will in the future, use the services provided at our hospitals or know someone who has. The Charity exists to enable patients, service users and their loved ones to thank the hospitals for the care given to them.

We make a real difference locally

From multi-million pound surgical robots and the refurbishment of inpatient rooms to arts therapy for our younger patients and service users, our work makes a difference to the lives of local people each day.
