UHNM Charity would like to thank Leek Theatre Company after members raised an incredible £3,500 in support of the UHNM Cancer Centre.
The fundraising effort reflects the strong connection many members of the group have with cancer services, either through their own experiences or those of family and friends.
Chloe Bayston, from Leek Theatre Company, said: “Over the years, many of our members have been personally affected by cancer, whether through their own diagnoses or through the people they love. It’s shaped our group in ways big and small, and it’s one of the reasons this story resonated so deeply.
“Giving back to the UHNM Cancer Centre was the most natural way to honour the people and stories that carried us there. We’re incredibly proud to have raised £3,500, and we really hope it goes toward providing the care that means so much to our community.”
The donation will help UHNM Charity continue supporting projects and services that enhance care for patients and families across the Cancer Centre.
