UHNM Charity would like to thank Heather Moore and members of Lodge Gordon No.49 for their donation of £386 to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Royal Stoke University Hospital.
The money was raised through a Sunday lunch and raffle organised by The Worshipful Master and Brethren of Lodge Gordon No.49. NICU was chosen as the Worshipful Master’s charity after her son, along with the children and grandchildren of other lodge members, received care on the unit.
Heather said: “The Worshipful Master and Brethren of Lodge Gordon No.49 raised the money through a raffle at a social function. The NICU unit at Royal Stoke was the Worshipful Master’s chosen charity as her son, as well as other lodge members’ children and grandchildren, have been cared for there.”
Katy Edwards, Matron for NICU, said: “Thank you for your wonderful donation. Your fundraising will be used directly within NICU@UHNM to support babies and families who may need neonatal care. Your kindness and generosity will help us keep our parent facilities up to date and ready for families who need them.”
Thank you to everyone at Lodge Gordon No.49 for helping make a difference for babies and families receiving care at Royal Stoke University Hospital.
