Elise Davies and her family have raised £3,320.52 for the Renal Unit at Royal Stoke University Hospital after hosting a fundraising event in support of patients and staff.
The family recently visited the hospital to donate gifts and supplies for patients and staff, alongside presenting the cheque from their latest fundraiser.
The charity night included live entertainment, a disco, raffle prizes, a tombola and a live auction, with support from local businesses and customers of Beeyoutiful Fashion, who donated prizes and gift sets towards the cause.
Elise said: “In April, we hosted a massive charity event where we sold tickets for entry, and all the money went to the unit.
“We had loads donated from local businesses and customers. On the night we held a live auction, a tombola and a disco for everyone.
“We wanted to give something back because of everything the staff do for patients and families.”
Jenny Porter, Directorate Manager for General Medicine and Lead for Renal, thanked the family for their continued support.
She said: “I’d like to say a massive thank you to Elise and her family for all their hard work raising money and for the goodies they’ve brought in for the renal team. It will not go to waste.
“They are long-term valued supporters and we’re so grateful for everything they continue to do for our patients and staff.”
The family’s fundraising total for UHNM Charity has now passed £5,000.
