WDPS and LD Property put on night to be remembered

On Friday, 8th November, the DoubleTree by Hilton in Stoke-on-Trent transformed into a Hollywood-inspired venue as the WDPS and L D Property Charity Ball brought guests together for a memorable night in support of UHNM Charity. The event began with a dazzling red-carpet entrance complete with fire performers, LED dancers, and a “paparazzi swarm” to set the scene.

Host Jonty Sargeant opened the evening with a dance alongside the Rosettas, followed by a powerful video showcasing the impact of UHNM Charity and the importance of continued support. Wayne Damant, representing WDPS, shared a heartfelt message on why he chose to support UHNM Charity with this event.

Following a delicious three-course meal, guests enjoyed the first-ever "Best of the Ball" (BOBS) awards. Steve Gibbons was named Best Dressed Man, sponsored by T-IPS, and Laura Thomas won Best Dressed Female, sponsored by Gemini Controls. Alex Jones took home the Sporting Moment of the Year award for his memorable golf day slip, and Charlotte Lucas from Ward 225 received our EPIC UHNM Award for her dedication to patient care.

Entertainment continued with performances from East 17 and Noir, creating an unforgettable party atmosphere. Thanks to the generous support from WDPS, L D Property, T-IPS Washrooms, Gemini Controls, and PREM Management, the night was a resounding success.
