This September, the dedicated staff of Ward 225 at Royal Stoke University Hospital are taking on the challenge of the Potters 'Arf Marathon to raise essential funds for their ward. Niamh Cooper, Charlotte Lucas, and Sid Govilkar are lacing up their running shoes to support the patients they care for every day.
In the video, hear directly from the Ward 225 team about their motivation and the impact these funds will have. They’re raising money to purchase a much-needed ultrasound machine that will be used on Ward 225 to provide rapid pain relief and pain blocks for patients with fragility fractures, significantly improving their comfort and care during recovery.
Joining them in their cause is a special guest—Stoke-on-Trent darts legend Phil Taylor, who is urging everyone to donate and support the team.
