UHNM Launches EURO 2024 Football Tournament and Fun Day

Brace yourselves, football enthusiasts and charity champions! UHNM Charity is set to kick off a summer of fun, with the UHNM Euro's event on June 29th at the newly-renovated, Roe Lane.

In a unique twist, UHNM Euro's marries the thrill of a Euro-style 24-team 7-aside tournament with the heartwarming spirit of charity. Businesses from around the region are gearing up to assemble their dream teams, comprising 10 players each, all for a chance to claim sporting glory and contribute to a noble cause.

The day promises more than just football. With a lively family fun day accompanying the tournament, attendees can look forward to a day filled with entertainment, laughter, and community spirit. The event has also lured in ex-professional footballers, adding a touch of stardust to the occasion and undoubtedly inspiring the aspiring players.

One of the most exciting aspects of UHNM Euro's is the Country-Allocation Live Draw, where participating businesses will discover the nation they'll represent in the tournament. 

The event's significance extends beyond the field, as all proceeds will go directly to UHNM Charity and aid in enhancing the services provided by the UHNM Trust. Teams can secure their place in this thrilling tournament, complete with custom shirts for each participant, for £350. Tickets are available for purchase on the UHNM Charity website.

Adding to the excitement, UHNM Charity has partnered with Newcastle Town Football Club, bringing together two organizations with a shared commitment to community well-being. Gavin Appleby, Chairman of Newcastle Town FC, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, "We're delighted to host the UHNM Charity event. It just fits directly with our ethos; we've got 1,000+ kids here every week, loads of parents, and they all access the great services, and we just want to support UHNM further enhancing those services. We're all going to need the UHNM services at some point in life, and I think on that basis, everyone should get involved."
