UHNM Charity secures 15 places in iconic London to Brighton Cycle Ride

UHNM Charity is excited to announce that it has secured 15 places in this year’s London to Brighton Cycle Ride, one of the UK’s most iconic charity cycling events, taking place on Sunday 14 September 2025.

The thrilling 55-mile ride from Clapham Common to Brighton seafront gives supporters of University Hospitals of North Midlands the opportunity to take on a personal challenge while raising vital funds to support patients, staff, and the wider community.

Funds raised by UHNM Charity cyclists will go towards enhancing patient care, funding specialist equipment, supporting staff wellbeing, and investing in local health initiatives.

Steve Rushton, Head of UHNM Charity, said: “We’re delighted to offer our supporters the chance to be part of such an inspiring national event. By taking on the London to Brighton Cycle Ride, our fundraisers are not only pushing their own limits—they're making a real difference to the lives of thousands of patients and families who rely on our hospitals.”

The charity is now calling on enthusiastic cyclists to join Team UHNM for the ride. Each place comes with a fundraising target, full support from registration to the finish line and finisher’s medal.
