Colourful wall murals have been displayed in further areas of the Endoscopy Unit at Royal Stoke University Hospital thanks to UHNM Charity.
Treatment and waiting rooms were transformed last year, changing the look and feel of the unit and now, following the positive feedback from patients and staff, the clinical rooms have been given a makeover too.
The murals are hoped to continually improve patient experience by offering a calm and relaxing environment as the tests can often be overwhelming.
Scott Taylor, Endoscopy Deputy Manager said: “We had amazing feedback from our patients and staff about the first set of murals we added to the unit, so we were excited to add more.
“The new murals look great and have brightened the clinical rooms, adding some nice touches and tranquillity to the unit. They have also helped staff wellbeing and contributed to a more welcoming working environment.
“A big thanks to UHNM Charity for supporting us once again. We are so happy with the murals and know they will help patients who attend the unit.”
