UHNM Charity announces festive activations

UHNM Charity is excited to announce a range of festive fundraising initiatives for Christmas 2024, offering businesses, schools, and the public multiple ways to get involved and support the Charity’s ongoing efforts to enhance patient care. The Charity's seasonal initiatives include Fancy Dress Friday, The EPIC Wrap donation drive, the launch of the 'Gift Kindness' activity packs, and a special charity single featuring local artists.

On Friday, 20 December, UHNM Charity will host Fancy Dress Friday, inviting schools, businesses, and community groups across the region to don their favourite festive costumes. Participants are encouraged to dress up, make a £1 donation per person, and share their festive fun online by tagging @uhnmcharity. All funds raised will contribute to the Charity’s mission of supporting patients, staff, and services at both County Hospital in Stafford and Royal Stoke University Hospital. To sign up for Fancy Dress Friday, please fill in the form below.

In addition, UHNM Charity will be running The EPIC Wrap on 19 and 20 December, encouraging local businesses and community partners to become collection points for donations. Businesses taking part will invite their customers to donate during this two-day window, with UHNM Charity coordinating the collection of all items. Another key fundraising drive this year is the Gift Kindness initiative, where donors can purchase activity packs for children and adults receiving care at both hospitals. For just £5, donors can buy these packs through the Charity’s online shop, with each one going directly to patients on the wards. This initiative ensures that patients of all ages can enjoy some festive cheer while staying in hospital over the holidays. You can purchase your donation here.
