Team UHNM take on London Landmarks half marathon challenge

Members of staff from University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM) will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon on Sunday 6 April 2025 to raise funds for UHNM Charity.

Clinical and non-clinical staff will run 13.1 miles through central London to help UHNM Charity improve patient care and experience at the Royal Stoke and County hospitals.

The team will start the race in Whitehall and take in the spectacular sights of Westminster, heading down to the River Thames passing iconic landmarks such as Big Ben, the London Eye, Tower Bridge, and crossing the finishing line in Trafalgar Square.

Lisa Thomson, Director of Communications and Charity at UHNM said: “I am delighted that Team UHNM will be back running the London Landmarks Half Marathon. We have put together a team of brilliant runners across UHNM and Staffordshire who, I am sure, will all have an unforgettable day.

“The money raised will go towards patient care and I encourage everyone to get right behind our runners and donate to Team UHNM.”
