Rev'd Carol's three-month coastal walk in memory of parishioner

An intrepid fundraiser is currently embarking on a three-month coastal walk to thank the ‘wonderful’ staff on our Critical Care Unit.

The Rev’d Carol Roberts is walking the length of the Llyn Peninsula in north Wales between July and September.

She said: “My friend Jo and I are fundraising for the Critical Care Unit at UHNM. We are doing this as a thank you to the Unit for all they do for the people of North Wales, and I am doing this also as a particular thank you for the excellent care they gave to a dear friend and former parishioner, Alwena.”

“We both lost a dear friend from Stoke this year and we will be thinking of him as we walk.”

The 110-mile walk will take the pair from Porthmadog to Trefor past mountains, sand dunes and cliffs.
