On 1 September Rebecca Quinn from Kidsgrove is taking on the national Three Peaks Challenge for Neonatal Unit UHNM Stoke-On-Trent in memory of her son Bobby.
Bobby was born prematurely at 26 weeks and spent his entire short life being cared for on NICU.
Rebecca said: “We’re doing the challenge in memory of Bobby who faced many challenges during his life.”
“The staff on NICU went above and beyond and treated Bobby with kindness and compassion. I'll be forever grateful for the love they poured into his care.”
“Although his story wasn't the story of a premature baby that made it home, it's the story of an incredible boy who is remembered every day. It's a story filled with love and one the NICU will always be a part of. Therefore, we would like to raise as much as we can to help the NICU continue to support families in the way that they do.”
