A Mow Cop couple who turned their house into a festive extravaganza have raised almost £2,500 for UHNM Charity.
Mr and Mrs Douglas’ display featured thousands of LED lights, giant inflatables, and decorated Christmas trees.
The display was in memory of granddaughter Isla Zoie Taylor with money raised being donated to the Forget-Me-Not Suite at UHNM.
Mrs Douglas said: “We would like to say the biggest thank you to all who donated to our Christmas lights throughout December 2024. Your kindness and generosity is very much appreciated, and will help greatly towards improving patient experience at our local hospital.
“We would like to also thank you to The Ash Inn for their help and support.”
The family presented their cheque to staff from the Royal Stoke University Hospital’s Maternity Centre including Donna Brayford, Deputy Director of Midwifery and Sarah Lake, Bereavement Specialist Midwife.
