Everybody at UHNM Charity is wishing Zoe Brocklehurst, Timothy Haslam and Phoebe Lord the very best of luck for this Sunday’s Manchester Marathon!
Thank you for deciding to lace up your trainers for UHNM Charity and help us to improve patient care and experience at UHNM!
Zoe Brocklehurst
Zoe is taking on her “biggest challenge” by running the marathon to raise funds for Ward 117 at Royal Stoke as a thank you to the staff who cared for her dad who was admitted with pneumonia over Christmas.
Timothy Haslam
Timothy is running the 23.2 miles to raise funds for Ward 217 at SCH for the support they gave to his son’s friend and family after being diagnosed with leukaemia.
Phoebe Lord
Phoebe is lining up in Manchester in aid of the Chemotherapy Unit at Royal Stoke’s Cancer Centre, in recognition of its “professional, empathetic and caring approach” to patients like family member Karen, who after two years of life-saving treatment is able to look to the future.
Paul Bentham
Paul is aiming to complete his first full marathon for UHNM Charity this weekend and raise funds for the Children's Oncology Unit at Staffordshire Children's Hospital at Royal Stoke who provided care to family friend Emily Franks who was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma when she was 14.
