Leigh Collins will hit new heights for UHNM Charity by completing a sky dive.
Leigh who’s from Stoke-on-Trent, will take a leap of faith from 10,000ft to raise funds for the Dialysis Unit at Royal Stoke who have provided care to her Dad for over a decade.
She said: “I’ve always thought about doing something for charity and wanted to do something big, so thought I couldn’t get much bigger than this. I’m extremely excited but would be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous. But I know it’s for such a great cause and that is what makes it so worth it.”
“I’ve lost count how many times the amazing team at UHNM have saved my Dad and helped him in all sorts of circumstances, so I just want to give something back to them. The care that they have given him has been outstanding every time, and he forever talks so highly of them- from the people at the very top all the way down to the lady who brings him his sandwiches. They’ve even taught him how to use his tablet so he can talk to my mum back home.”
“In my eyes they really are heroes and we will appreciate any kind of donation, small or big.”
