Join Us for the UHNM Thrombectomy Awareness Day!

We are excited to invite you to the UHNM Thrombectomy Awareness Day on Thursday, 26 September 2024, at the bet365 Stadium. The event kicks off at 09:30 and concludes around 16:30.

This informative and engaging day will be hosted by the esteemed Jonty Sargeant and will feature a variety of guest speakers and panels. The agenda includes insightful discussions and presentations aimed at raising awareness and advancing our understanding of thrombectomy procedures and stroke care. Hear first-hand accounts from patients whose lives have been transformed by Thrombectomy and gain deeper understanding through visually engaging presentations.

Event Schedule:

  • 09:30 - Welcome Drinks: Start your day with a warm welcome and refreshments as you connect with fellow attendees.
  • Morning Sessions: Engage in a series of panels and discussions led by experts in the field.
  • 13:00 - Lunch: Enjoy a delicious lunch while networking with colleagues and professionals.
  • Afternoon Sessions: Continue learning from more panels and discussions, including a relaxing tea break.

We are calling on patients, representatives from the Stroke Association, the Ambulance Service, stroke physicians, interventional neuroradiologists, NHS England, the Royal College of Radiologists, clinical specialists, and anyone interested in the Thrombectomy industry.

The day promises to be a rich opportunity for professional development, networking, and sharing of best practices in thrombectomy and stroke care.
