A new GB4 car reveal at Stoke City Stadium marks the next step for Jay Leverton, as Idolasport confirm him as their driver for the upcoming season. The reveal supports fundraising for UHNM Charity.
Jay’s mum said, “Jay was born five weeks premature and he was cared for by the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. When his racing became more serious, we asked him if there was a cause he wanted to support and he chose NICU. It is very close to our hearts and we want to raise as much money as possible for the services they provide.”
The event took place at Stoke City Stadium, with the club supporting the launch of Jay’s new GB4 car. Securing a seat in the GB4 Championship follows years of progression, testing, and commitment.
Jay has already raised significant funds for NICU through previous racing activity. With a full testing and race programme ahead, plans are in place to build on that work during the GB4 season.
Jay thanked everyone involved in helping secure the car and making the stadium reveal possible. He described the opportunity as a long shot that has now become reality.
Stoke City player Aaron Cresswell also shared his support. He spoke about resilience, consistency, and responding to setbacks, highlighting values that apply across all sports.
Jay’s GB4 campaign with Idolasport will combine competitive racing with continued fundraising for UHNM Charity, supporting NICU services that helped his family from the very start.
