James and Phyllis hold their latest fundraising event

Longstanding fundraisers James and Phyllis Martin have continued to support UHNM Charity, raising over £1,000 through a table top sale at their home in Baddeley Green.

Along with neighbour and friend Helen Turvey, the pair who have raised almost £30,000 for various wards and departments across UHNM, presented their latest cheque to Steve Rushton, Head of UHNM Charity.

Steve said: "I was delighted to visit James and Phyllis to thank them again in person for their continued and remarkable fundraising for UHNM Charity. They are a real asset to our Charity, whose fundraising efforts over the years have helped us to improve the care and experience of countless patients at UHNM."
