Butt Lane Pharmacy raised £451.72 for University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust after hosting a Disney themed fundraising week led by Stephanie Rawlingson.
The pharmacy was transformed across the week with costumes, competitions, and a community 5K walk. Staff and customers alike got involved, helping to create a strong sense of fun and togetherness.
Stephanie dressed up across several days, bringing familiar Disney characters to life. From a classic princess to Cruella and Carl from Up, the costumes caught attention and sparked conversation with everyone who visited the pharmacy.
The themed competitions ran throughout the week encouraged people of all ages to take part. Customers stopped, chatted, and donated while enjoying the atmosphere. It turned everyday visits into something memorable.
The week also included a 5K walk which helped boost fundraising and awareness. It gave the community a chance to get active while supporting a local cause that matters to them.
The funds raised have been designated to support younger patients cared for by Staffordshire Children’s Hospital at Royal Stoke. Donations like this help UHNM provide equipment, facilities, research, and the extra touches that improve care for patients, families, and staff.
UHNM Charity would like to thank Stephanie and everyone at Butt Lane Pharmacy for their time, creativity, and commitment. Their efforts show the impact a local workplace can make with a simple idea and a lot of heart.
